The Edward River, which meanders through town, is the perfect place for a range of fast-paced water fun, including fishing – particularly for Murray Cod and Yellowbelly - and water skiing.And if fishing is your game, come to Deniliquin in February each year for the Deniliquin Fishing Classic which sees 1200 anglers compete for the big prize.

For a more relaxing way to explore the River and the rest of Deniliquin, bicycle hire is available from the Visitors Information Centre, and you can download the Bicycle Map to ensure you don’t miss any of Deni’s attractions. You can also relax on one of our sandy beaches or explore the River in a canoe or kayak.

The Deniliquin Golf Club has 18 perfectly manicured fairways to help improve your game, or just to have a friendly game with friends. A truly beautiful golf course in the heart of regional Australia, the Golf Club in conjunction with the Deniliquin Golf and Leisure Resort offers stay and play golf packages. If you prefer bowls to golf, both members and guests can play at the Deniliquin Bowling Club.
