North Deniliquin |
Go Back |
| An Aboriginal Heritage Walkway is situated across the National Bridge in Davidson Street, including a river track and coolmon scars on marked trees. In Victoria Street the North School stands on the hill where the Wanderer Inn, the first building in Deniliquin, was erected in 1859. Hyde Street marks the route from the river crossing where all stock passed prior to the first National Bridge (1861). Pioneer Tourist Centre on the Hay Road has a display of old pumps and steam engines as well as a large nursery and caravan park. Address: Your Hosts: Phone: Email: Website: |
