Conargo & District |
Go Back |
| The road to Conargo passes large wool growing properties including Peppinella and Boonoke. The historical Conargo pub is well worth a visit, there stickers are sought after all around the world. The Conargo Milestones stretch along the road between Deniliquin & Conargo and have been in placed according to sites of social or historical significance. They are cast in bronze and were completed by local artists, with the assistance of professional artist Anton Hasell and bronze technician Phil Mune in September 1996. A map of the milestones is available from the Visitors Information centre. Address: Your Hosts: Phone: Email: Website: www.conargo.nsw.gov.au |
